What a crazy week it was!

I feel a little guilty that I haven’t been able to blog over the last few days, but it wasn’t due to being lazy. Last week evolved from an evening of hockey with our son and a great supportive audience (hat tip to Uncle Kyle, Papa and Grandma for cheering on the ice crawling kid) to a whirlwind of a week!

Within just a couple of days we got an offer on our house (yay!), my Dad and I got to enjoy one hell of a Stars/Bruins game (go Bruins!), I had a last minute one day 10 hour driving business trip to San Antonio that started just a couple of hours after the hockey game and lasted through almost midnight the next night, an accepted contract on our home, house hunting, a birthday party in Dallas, then finally to our couch where I slept through the second half of a miserable Patriots game. My decision to take Monday off proved to be a great idea since that finally gave me some time with Henry and Mandy to have a few minutes to just enjoy being with each other.

I know the days will only be getting a little crazier with house hunting and trying to get this house packed up, but I really look forward to see what all this work will bring us very soon.

“Fire trucky” (one of Henry’s names for his baby brother) should be quite pleased he’s going through all this in the womb!

Below are a few photos from the adventure. More will be coming up on the blog soon. We have an exciting new iPad app review and giveaway to talk about and a long over due #CatchtheMoment365/Project365 update.

Did I mention our seats?
Did I mention our seats? They were great! We enjoyed being surrounded by a lot of Bruins fans! I wish I had more than my iPhone to take photos with, but we took the train and I wasn’t willing to risk them taking my camera. (FYI detachable lens camera are considered professional in the eyes of American Airlines Center and not allowed during sporting events)

On our way back from San Antonio we made a couple of the necessary stops. First one was in New Braunfels to Buc-ee’s for beaver treasures…

...and then a stop in West for some Czech kolaches.

We had a great time at the Perot after an enjoyable 4-year-old birthday party. It’s a little over Henry’s head still, but he liked seeing the bones and riding on the lift. I think the lift was his favorite part (lol).

All this, while this is what was on the back of our minds! (home depot moving boxes)
